Eugene McCaghy Military Discharge Paper
He was released before the end of the war. He and Elizabeth (Betty) had three children upon his induction, Loren (Larry) was almost 4, Judith was almost 2, and Richard was about 3 1/2 months. It was probably a hardship release. Gene continued working for National Presto Industries and became a Vice President.
