Rosemary M. Gamache, 81, a long-time resident of Pawling, died July 24, 2007 in Beacon, NY. Born in New York City on Jan. 19, 1926, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Baldwin) Lynch. She graduated from Misercordia School of Nursing, Bronx, NY as a registered nurse, and was the attendance officer at Pawling Central School during the 1970's and the school nurse at the during 1983-84. With her husband, Robert, she owned and operated Bob's Liquor Store in Pawling for many years. He predeceased her in 1998. Mrs. Gamache was a member of St. John's Church, the Alter Rosary Society, a 50 year member of St. John's Catholic Daughters, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Pawling Fire Department Auxiliary, and the Pawling Grange. Mrs. Gamache is survived by two sons, Robert Jr. of Elizabethton, TN and David Gamache of Pawling; her daughter, Faith Knight of Wappingers Falls; and four grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Joseph.
