Philip Dupree, Sr.
Word has been received qf the death of Philip Duprey, Sr. of Ray Brook. Mr. Duprey, died November 26 at the Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, after a long illness.
Mr. Duprey had been a motel operator in Ray Brook and had been employed with the Conservation Dept. at the Mt. Van Hovenburg Bob Run and the Saranac Lake Golf Club.
He was born July 30, 1903, in Saranac Lake, the son of Syriac Duprey and Elizabeth Russett. He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Strack, three sons, Philip Jr., Stephen, and Charles, all of Ray Brook; four daughters, Miss Helen Duprey, and Mrs. Dale Privilera, both of Albany, and the Misses Susan and Mary Duprey, both of Ray Brook; three brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, and Clarence, all of Ray Brook; three sisters. Mrs. John Keough, and Mrs. William Hall, both of Saranac Lake. and Mrs. John Russ of Niagara Falls; one grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
A requiem Funeral Mass was offered at St. Bernard's Church at 10:00 Saturday. Interment followed in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
