Dr. David J. Nebzydoski of Pleasant Mount, Pa., a veterinarian, died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at his home. He was 29 years of age.
The son of Dr. Henry J. Jr, and Jean Glavich Nebzydoski, he was born September 25, 1973 in Carbondale, Pa.
A graduate of Forest City High School in 1991 and the University of Scranton in 1995, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. Nebzydoski was a member of St. James Church in Pleasant Mount. In a family statement, it was said "He was a caring person who loved his family and friends and enjoyed all animals and the outdoors. He touched any peoplein his life and will be missed by all who knew him."
He is survived by his fiancée, Carol Ann Murphy; his parents of Pleasant Mount, Pa; five brothers, Mark of Waymart, and Daniel, Thomas, Andrew and Christopher, all of Pleasant Mount, Pa; two sisters, Dr. Beth Spinelli of Thompson, Pa. and Kathryn of Pleasant Mount, Pa; his maternal grandfather, William Glavich of Vandling, Pa; a niece; and sevralaunts, uncles and cousins, including Dr. Joseph Nebzydoski of Jeffersonville. He was predeceased by a sister, Amy Jean, in 1975; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Glavich, and his paternal grandparents, Henry and May Nebzydoski.
A funeral mass was offered at St. James Church in Pleasant Mount on Tuesday with the Rev. Richard Beck officiating.
Interment in St. James Cemetery in Pleasant Mount will be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Junior Livestock Scholarship Fund, c/o Ed Pruss, 925 Court Street, Honesdale, PA 18431
