Lawrence - Shirley M. (Gamache) Kinsella, 96, of Lawrence, passed away on October 2, 2022, peacefully at her home. She was the daughter of the late Yvonne (Gamache) Moynihan.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Shirley attended St. Anne Grammar School and High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. She was employed by the IRS, retiring in 1986. She was an accomplished pianist and piano teacher with many accolades.
As a devout Catholic, she was a member of the Third Order of Mary and a parishioner of St. Patrick in Lawrence. She enjoyed spending summers with her family at the beach and wintered in Florida for many years. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, but most importantly spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Joan Payeur and her husband Marc of Salem, NH, Daniel Kinsella and his wife Jane of Methuen, Kathleen LaFrance and her husband James of Atkinson, NH, Carol Kinsella and her wife Jean Puleo of Lawrence, Timothy Kinsella and his wife Evelynne of Lawrence; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband L. Thomas Kinsella, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage; and her daughter, Patricia Kinsella.
She also enjoyed all her grand-dogs over the years, especially Cooper and Teddy who lived with her. Shirley's family extends a thank you to her live-in caregiver, Barbara Blackwood for her kind and compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, 118 S. Broadway, Lawrence. Entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum Lawrence.
