  [S5] Obituary. Longtime Soldotna resident, Mrs. Patricia Ann Gamache died Sunday, December 1, 2013 at her home in Soldotna. She was 76. No services will be held per Patricia's wishes. Mrs. Gamache was born Sep. 10, 1938, in Massachusetts. She was a mother of 3 daughters, Joann McWhorter, Robin Grandchamp, and Kimberly Johnson. Patricia was currently working for Consumer Direct and before that she worked for many years at Central Peninsula Hospital in the housekeeping Department. The family wrote, "Patricia was a great supporter of the barrel races and will be greatly missed by many." She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Johnson, husband Walter Gamache and grandson Jasper McKenzie. She is survived by her daughters, Joann McWhorter and Robin Grandchamp; grandkids, Derick and Ciarra McKenzie, Tia, Rockey and Travis Johnson, and Pam and Robert Grandchamp and 9 great grandchildren.
