AUBURN, NH -- George L. Gamache, 59, of Auburn, NH, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 14, 1953 in Lowell, MA, a son of the late George C. and Claire (Frechette) Gamache.
George loved music which led to his playing in several local bands as a lead guitarist. He loved to cook. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Mr. Gamache had a fondness for animals, especially dogs and cats.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Johanna F. Gamache; one son, Ian J. Gamache; two brothers, Normand L. Gamache and his wife, Sue, and Michael L. Gamache and his wife, Maryetta, two sisters, MaryAnn Foote and her husband, David, Priscille Ladebauche and her husband, Joe; several nieces and nephews.
GAMACHE -- There are no calling hours. A private celebration of George's life will be held at a later date by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
