Richard Gamache, 42, of 28 Valley St., Adams, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Hillcrest Commons Care Center, Pittsfield.
Born in Adams on July 29, 1963, he was the son of Donald L. and Adella (Rogowski) Gamache. He attended St. Stanislaus School, Adams, and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1981.
He went to work for the family business in Adams, Greylock Ice and Fuel, where he worked as an office manager until he retired in 1998 due to ill health.
He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Society and the Z.P.R.K., both in Adams, and was an avid bowler and Boston Red Sox fan.
He leaves a brother, Donald L. Gamache Jr. of Adams; a sister, Barbara Bushey of Adams; two aunts, Daisy Rogowski and Stacia Wilczek, both of Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Richard Gamache will take place Wednesday, April 5, 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Adams.
Calling hours are Wednesday, 8 a.m. until the time of the service, at the Trottier-Pringle Funeral Home, 6 Summer St., Adams.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Stanislaus School through the funeral home.
