Bill, son of William D. Gamache of St. Cloud, Florida and the late Patricia A. (Tisdale) Gamache, was born in Gardner on July 12, 1959 and spent some time living in the southwest but has lived in Gardner for the majority of his life.

He was his own general contractor and enjoyed home carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. In fact, he enjoyed several side jobs and was a sewing machine repairman and at one time, was also a locksmith. Bill dabbled in the standup comedy circuit. He took classes in stand-up and improv in order to sharpen his technique and did a few gigs at various comedy spots. He will be remembered best as wanting to make people happy by making them laugh.
