Jillson, 85 Resident of Readsboro Wednesday, June 27 Mae Agnes (Gamache) Jillson, 85, of 17 Tunnel St., Readsboro, Vt., died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Born in Readsboro on April 12, 1922, she was a daughter of Levi Joseph and Georgianna M. (Morrier) Gamache. The family moved to Whitingham, Vt., when she was a child and she received her education in the Readsboro and Whitingham, Vt schools. She graduated from Whitingham High School in 1940. In her young years, she was employed with the former Readsboro Chair Shop and, after her marriage, she was a devoted homemaker for her family. She was a communicant of St. Joachim Church of Readsboro. Her husband, Clarence Kingsley Jillson, died Dec. 24, 1981. They were married on Aug. 14, 1945, in St. John Bosco Church in Stamford, Vt. She leaves her sister-in-law and caregiver, Helen Therrien of Whitingham, and cousins. A sister, Margaret Theresa Gamache, died July 22, 1996. FUNERAL NOTICE ? Funeral services for Mae Jillson will take place Friday, June 29, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joachim Church, Tunnel Street, Readsboro, Vt. Burial will follow in Sadawga Cemetery, Whitingham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joachim Church through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, at 74 Marshall St., North Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
