Peter Real Gamache of Lebanon died Tuesday at Windham Community Memorial Hospital. He was 60.
Mr. Gamache was a union mason and member of the Connecticut Bricklayers Local No. 12, retiring in 1995. He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959. He was a past president and president of the past presidents' group of the Franco-American Civic & Social Club. He was also a member of St. Mary's Church in Willimantic and Willimantic Elks Lodge No. 1311.
He leaves his wife, Madeline; two sons, Michael P. Gamache of Lebanon and Eric D. Gamache of New Britain; two sisters, Louise Miller of Los Angeles and Yvette Elliott of Willimantic; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are today, 7 to 9 p.m., at Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St., Willimantic. The funeral will be Friday at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary's Church for a Mass at 11. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
