  [S5] Obituary. Armand Gendreau Sandpoint Mass of Christian Burial for Armand W. Gendreau, 83, will be today at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Sandpoint with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Mr. Gendreau, who was born in Scobey, Mont., died Saturday. He attended school in Scobey and also lived in Canada and North Dakota before serving with the Navy during World War II. Mr. Gendreau married Theresa Gamache in 1947; she preceded him in death. He received training in the dry-cleaning and laundry trade and later owned a laundry and dry-cleaning business in Kalispell, Mont., and Orofino, Idaho. Mr. Gendreau moved to Sandpoint in 1953 and established Modern Cleaners, which he operated until his retirement in 1991. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mr. Gendreau enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and had built his own pickup camper. Survivors include two children, Ronnie Gendreau of Centerville, wash., and Dianna Gilbert of Bothell, Wash.; a brother, Gilbert Gendreau of Kalispell; a sister, Edna Burke of Anderson, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
