Gamache, Jr., 68, of Windsorville Road, South Windsor, died Tuesday (Feb. 11, 1997) at Rockville General Hospital. He was the husband of Hazel (O'Hara) Gamache. He was born in Bennington, VT and had served in the U.S. Army. Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Ronald of South Windsor, Robert in Georgia, and Susan Hargrave in Louisiana; a step-son, Gary Thurston and a sister, Claire Ziarno, both of Massachusetts; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday (Feb. 14), 10 a.m. in the Ladd-Turkington Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd., (Rt. 83), Vernon. Burial will be in the Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
