  [S5] Obituary. Gamache, Leona A. Szostak COHOES Leona A. Szostak Gamache, 89, of Bridge Ave in Cohoes, died Thursday May 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy embraced by her loving family. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaws and Catherine Krupski Szostak and beloved wife of 66 wonderful and blessed years to Raymond R. Gamache of Cohoes. Leona was a lifelong area resident and attended the Cohoes Schools. She was employed with the New York State Department of Tax and Finance. Her family was the focus of her life and she treasured their abundant love and company. Leona enjoyed wintering in Hollywood, Fla. with her husband and together they created many beautiful memories. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted sons and their wives, Raymond S. and Kathy Gamache of Averill Park, Robert W. and Ellen Gamache of Troy and Richard G. and Jessica Gamache of Cohoes; cherished grandchildren, Dr. Geoffrey (Michele) Gamache and Joseph Gamache and adored great grandchildren, Olivia, Landon and Tyler. There will be no funeral service or calling hours. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
