  [S5] Obituary. Providence Journal (RI) - Tuesday, September 7, 1993 Deceased Name: Oliver A. Gamache Oliver A. Gamache, 76, of Birch Street, a jigger for the Duro Finishing Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1982, died yesterday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Therese M. (Cyr) Gamache. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Beaulieu) Gamache. Mr. Gamache was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, and served in the African, European and Middle Eastern Theaters. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. He was member of the Textile Union Workers of America. He leaves a son, Jerome Gamache of Fall River; a daughter, Mary E. Whalen, chief petty officer, USN, stationed in Siganella, Sicily; two sisters, Blanche Berube of Riverside, and Jeanette McGee of Swansea; a brother, Edward Gamache of Fall River; a grandson, and a granddaughter. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the O'Rourke Funeral Home, 571 Second St., with a funeral Mass at 10 at St. Patrick's Church, South Main Street.
