DRACUT -- Doris L. (Gamache) Proulx, 82, a lifelong Dracut resident who worked at a local bank, died Monday, April 10, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
She was the wife of Robert R. Proulx, to whom she was married for 59 years.
She was born in Lowell, Sept. 16, 1923, daughter of the late Edmond and Cecilia (Noro) Gamache. She graduated from Keith Hall in Lowell.
Before retiring, Mrs. Proulx and was employed by the Lowell Five Cents Savings Bank. Previously, she worked for the former Union National Bank.
Besides her husband, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, Frank and Dolores Krawczyk of Dracut, Ethel and Armand Laboeuf of Gilmanton, N.H., Celine Krawczyk of Dracut, Bernadette and Dennis Litchfield of MacLean, Va., Judy and Andy Micozzi of Dracut, John and Doreen Kondra of Dracut, Susan and Edward Kennedy of Lowell, Gerald and Donna Proulx of Londonderry, N.H., Michael and Patricia Proulx of Pepperell, and Kenneth Proulx of Medford; a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Kondra and her husband, Ainsworth of Dracut; a brother-in-law, Gerard Proulx and his wife, Dorothy of Chelmsford.
She was also the aunt of the late Richard "Dick" Krawczyk.
