At the Cap-Saint-Ignace long-term care facility, on November 5, 2025, at the age of 85, Mr. Jacques Gamache, husband of Mrs. Liliane Bélanger, passed away. He resided in Saint-Damase de L'Islet. He was the son of the late Mrs. Marthe Gamache and the late Mr. Camille Gamache; Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his children: Edith (Jason Bell) and Philippe, as well as his grandson Sébastien.
He was the brother and brother-in-law of: the late Raymond (the late Cécile Michaud), the late Jacqueline (Adéodat Rioux), Rachel (Joseph Castonguay), the late Julien, Julie (the late Jean-Marie Charrois) and Rita (Rémi Picard);
From the Bélanger family: Huguette (the late Joseph Robitaille), Jean-Guy (Délia Joncas), the late Gérard, the late Angèle, Denise (Gilles Bélisles), Micheline (Jocelyn Boivin) and Roger (Lise Dubé).
Also affected by his departure are his nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

His family members will welcome you to the Municipal Hall 3, Place de l'Église Saint-Damase, L' Islet Saturday, the day of the funeral, starting at 9 a.m. The funeral with Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the church of Saint-Damase in L'Islet .
His ashes will later be interred in the parish cemetery.
