GAMACHE, ROBERT E. JR., 55, of Red Robin Rd., Cranston, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007, at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Jaunita M. (Jaycox) Gamache.
Born in Fall River, MA, a devoted son of the late Robert E. and Lorraine F. (Thiboutot) Gamache, Sr., he moved to Pawtucket in 1976 and to Cranston in 1979.
In his youth, Robert worked at a variety of jobs before working for Verizon as a Splice Service Technician for the past 33 years, and a member of IBEW#2323.
He was a graduate of St. Anne High School in Fall River. He enjoyed gardening, camping, photographing nature and traveling. He was a faithful New England sports fan.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Robert E. Gamache, III, and Linda A. Adams-Guadagno, both of Cranston; loving grandfather of Nikkolas M. Adams; and dear brother of Diane L. Medeiros, Roger P. Gamache, Jeanne M. Gamache, and Marc P. Gamache, all of Fall River. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
