Deceased Name: Mary A. Gamache
Mary A. Gamache, 99, of 35 Glenbrook Rd., a retired custom drapes maker, died wednesday at the Warwick Health Center. She was the widow of Joseph Gamache.
Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Beaulieu) LaFrance. A former Providence resident, she had lived in Warwick since 1965.
Mrs. Gamache made drapes for the former Shepard Co. and later the former Outlet Co., both in Providence, for 20 years until retiring in 1953.
She leaves her son-in-law, Harold A. Young, with whom she had made her home for 40 years.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. from Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Benedict's Church, Beach Avenue. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
