  [S5] Obituary. Providence Journal (RI) - Sunday, April 13, 1997 Deceased Name: Attleboro BERNARD D. GAMACHE BERNARD D. GAMACHE, 75, of Harvard Street, a self-employed accountant with Gamache, O'Brien & O'Neill, for 35 years, retiring last year, died Friday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Eileen L. (Menard) Gamache. Mr. and Mrs. Gamache celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October. Born in North Attleboro, a son of the late Donat and Alfreida (Tetreault) Gamache, he lived in Attleboro for 50 years. Mr. Gamache was a 1942 graduate of Bentley College and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of the Serra Club, a member of the Elks of North Attleboro 1011 and a former member of the Lions Club and Highland Country Club. He was an active member of the Bentley College Alumnae. He was a recipient of the Marion Medal Award, given by the Catholic Diocese of Fall River. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Brian Gamache of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Denise Gamache of Centerville, Mass.; a daughter, Donna O'Brien of Lunenberg, Mass.; three sisters, Cecile Collard of North Attleboro, Constance Champagne of East Falmouth, Mass., and Frances Croney of Fort Myers, Fla.; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Sperry-McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mark's Church, Stanley Street, Attelboro Falls. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, North Attleboro.
