Arlene Gamache, born on June 14, 1942, to Milton and Viola Ostrom, in Comfort Township, MN, passed away on February 2, 2025, in Isanti, MN.
Arlene married her husband, Joseph Gamache, and together they had three children. She enjoyed baking cookies and pies, crocheting, bowling, and golfing with her husband. Arlene was a life-long member of Emmanual Lutheran Church in Backus and was a volunteer grandparent for 20 years at Pine River Elementary School.
Arlene is survived by her children, Viola (Dave) Richard, Darrell Gamache, and Pam Gamache; grandchildren, Kayla Schossow, Jade Richard, Andrew Newman, Joey Richard, Matthew Newman, and Alexander Newman; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph Cariveau and Isaiah Cariveau.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Dick Ostrom.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Backus, MN. A visitation will be held the hour prior.
