  [S5] Obituary. Albert Gamache SPRINGFIELD ? The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield for Albert F. Gamache of Springfield, who died April 4 of age-related causes. He was 91. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 7, 1917, in Turtle Lake, Wis., to Napoleon and Clara LaFond Gamache. He married Gertrude Higgins on Dec. 11, 1937, in Tomahawk, Wis. She died Jan. 18, 1999. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a millworker until he retired in 1979. Survivors include a son, Albert Jr. of Eugene; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, Eugene Gamache, diedJuly 20, 1939. Burial will be Monday at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
