At the Montmagny Hospital, on June 12, 2021, at the age of 95 years and 3 months, passed away Mrs. Thérèse Gamache, wife of the late Mr. Eugène Bélanger. Daughter of the late Lady Claire Gamache and the late Mr. Joseph Gamache, she lived in Saint-Damase-de-L'Islet.
She is survived by her children: Gisèle (Richard Proulx), Bertrand, Lucie (late René Bélanger), Lisette (Denis Gamache), late Aline, Victor, Dorothée (Dave Pelletier), Martine (Michel Dubé) and Clarisse (Robin Dubé); his grandchildren: Stéphane (Lise Limoges) and David Proulx (Caroline Currie), Caroline (William Dionne), Isabelle (Rémi Pelletier), Jean-Philippe (Caroline Chouinard) and Amélie Pelletier (Maxime Lizotte), Annie-Claude (Simon East Lavoie) and Guillaume Dubé, Benoit (Natacha Cloutier) and Sophie Dubé (Jérôme Cloutier); his great-grandchildren: Sarah, Nicolas and Justin Proulx, Samuel and Maxime Proulx, Marylou and Jasmin Dionne, Lily-Rose, Charles, Arnaud and Laurie Pelletier, Lorianne, Aurélie and Jade Pelletier, Philippe, Alex, Kim and Roxanne Lizotte , Hector Dubé as well as Thomas Cloutier.
She was the sister and sister-in-law of: the late Gustave (the late Rolande Gamache), the late Paul-Émile (the late Antoinette Lord), the late Jean-Marie (the late Françoise Cloutier), the late Luc (Rita Duval), the late Aline (the late Yvon Dubé), Rita (late Paul-Émile Cloutier), late Denise, Hélène (late Donat Cloutier), late Juliette (late Claude Cloutier), late Marcel (Louise St-Amant) and Antoine Gamache (Carmen Lord).
