Longtime Nashua resident; enjoyed baking; Jeanne D’Arc J. Gamache, 83, of Nashua, N.H., died Dec. 14, 2004, at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare center in Nashua. Mrs. Gamache was born April 15, 1921, in Nashua, daughter of Evangeliste and Ernestine (Rochette) Nevue. She was raised in the Nashua area and had resided at 39 Vine St. for many years. She had also lived in Merrimack with her daughter. She was the widow of Clovis R. Gamache, who died in 2002. Mrs. Gamache was employed as a spinning room attendant with Jackson Mills and as an assembler for Sprague Electric, both in Nashua. She loved to bake and cook. She was a communicant of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in South Merrimack. Mrs. Gamache was educated in the Nashua area. She was predeceased by a son, John Gamache, in 1961. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Joann Gamache of Bedford; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Murray Collette of Merrimack; three grandsons, Brian and Kevin Collette of Merrimack, and Nicolas Gamache of Bedford; a brother, Brother Roger “Sylvio” Nevue of Pascoag, R.I.; two sisters, Yvonne and St. Estelle Nevue, both of Nashua; a special friend, Sr. Claudette Gagnon of Nashua; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 16 in St. John Neumann Church, S. Merrimack. Burial followed in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. The George R. Rivet Funeral Home in Merrimack was in charge of arrangements
