POITRAS, Jean-Baptiste 1927 - 2012 At the Montmagny Hospital, on September 16, 2012, at the age of 85, passed away Mr. Jean-Baptiste Poitras, husband of the late Dame Thérèse Dubé. He was the son of the late Dame Cécile Gamache and the late Mr. J. Ernest Poitras. He lived in L'Islet (Saint-Eugene). He is survived by his children: Réjean (late Louise Chartré, Medora Barriault), Benoît (Marie-Claude Garant), Marie-France (Richard Ouellet), Germain (Marie Allaire), Claire (Ghislain Massey) and Jean-Noël ; his grandchildren: Annie, Alexandre and Jean-Philippe Poitras, Andréanne and Simon-Pierre Poitras, Frédéric and Sébastien Ouellet, Vincent, Stéphanie and Amélie Poitras, Marie-Ève ??and Guillaume Massey; his great-grandson Felix. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: the late Colombe (late Philippe Tremblay), late Marie-Blanche (late Armand Couillard), late Philippe (Noëlla Dubé), late Raymond (late Gemma Lefebvre), late Marcel (Madeleine Lavoie), Sr. Madeleine (Sisters of Perpetual Help) and Brother Gérard (Brothers of the Christian Schools); from the Dubé family: late Jean-Paul (late Gemma Robichaud), Conrad (Marie-Rose Langevin), late Roland (late Rita Perreault), Roger (late Lucille Bélanger), late Joseph (Marie-Thérèse L'Italien), Noëlla (late Philippe Poitras), Jeanne-D'Arc (late Aurèle Normand), late Bruno (Yvette Morneau), Mariette (Claude Fournier), Sr Marie-Paule (Sisters of St-Joseph de St-Vallier) and late Jean-Marie Dube. He also leaves to mourn many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The members of his family will welcome you at the funeral home De la Durantaye & Fils 99, 7th rue L'Islet Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday day of the funeral from 11 a.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Saint-Eugène de L'Islet church, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
