At the Saint-Antoine Accommodation Center, on December 18, 2024, at the age of 83 years and 4 months, passed away Mr. Hermel Gamache, husband of Mrs. Diane Therrien, son of the late Mrs. Berthe Deschênes and the late Mr. Georges Gamache. He resided in Quebec City.
According to his wishes, he will not be exhibited.
A liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at
Catherine de Saint-Augustin Mausoleum at the St-Charles Cemetery (1460 boul. Wilfrid-Hamel) where the family will receive condolences starting at 9 a.m. The ashes will be placed in a niche following.
In addition to his wife Diane, he is survived by his sons Claude and Steve (Stéphanie Couture); his grandson Jake; his brothers and sisters: Pierrette, Lucien (Michelle Doyon), Alain (Danielle Fournier), Denis, Ginette (Claude Martel), Claudette, Réjean and Danielle; his brother-in-law Jean-Paul Desrosiers (the late Monique Gamache) and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Langelier (the late Raymond Gamache); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Therrien family: René (Pierrette Blanchette), Carmelle (the late Maurice Vandette), Anita (Robert Blais), Camil (Lise Patenaude), Isabelle (Donald Ouellette), Dolorès (Claude Lancup), Noëlla (Omer McIntyre), Caroline (Yvon Bernier) and Lise (the late Maurice Lagrange); as well as several cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
He went to join his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law who preceded him.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Saint-Antoine Accommodation Center for the good care provided.
