Deceased on September 19, 2016, Shawinigan, formerly Saint-Damase de L'Islet. GAMACHE, Jean-Marie 1927-2016 At the hospital of Shawinigan, on September 19, 2016, at the age of 89, passed away Mr. Jean-Marie Gamache , husband of the late Dame Françoise Cloutier, residing in Shawinigan. A native of Saint-Damase de L'Islet, he was the son of the late Dame Claire Gamache and the late Sir Joseph Gamache .
He is survived by his children: Robert, Odile (Daniel Lapointe), Madeleine (Sylvain Lévesque), Gérard (Martine Salvail), Berthe (Jean Lavergne), Cécile (Éric L'Écuyer) and Rose (Martin Gingras); his grandchildren: Myriam and Stéphanie, Carl and Yann, Mathieu and Catherine, Marc-André and Alexandre, Pier-Olivier, Jean-Philippe and Émilie, their spouse; his great-grandchildren: Antoine, Juliette and Olivier, Louis and Charles as well as William. He was also the great-grandfather of the late Anally He was the brother and brother-in-law of: late Gustave (Rolande Gamache), the late Paul-Émile (late Antoinette Lord), Thérèse (late Eugène Bélanger), the late Luc (Rita Duval), Aline (late Yvon Dubé), Rita (late Paul-Émile Cloutier), the late Denise, Hélène (late Donat Cloutier) ), the late Juliet (late Claude Cloutier), Marcel (Louise St-Amant) and Antoine (Carmen Lord). He also leaves to mourn the family members Cloutier, many cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the palliative care staff at Shawinigan Hospital for their attention and excellent care. The members of his family will welcome you to the Municipal Hall 3, place of the church Saint-Damase of L'Islet Saturday day of the funeral starting at 12:00. The religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1st, 2016 at 3 pm in the church of Saint-Damase in L'Islet, followed by the burial of his ashes in the parish cemetery.
