View Sign EXETER - Cecile Bernadette Beede Fraser, 95 passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her residence at Langdon Place of Exeter. Born in Manchester on February 27, 1923 she was the daughter of Joe and Agnes Gamache. She was a graduate of Montpelier High School in Vermont, Class of 1940. After college she was employed as a bookkeeper for a business and as a secretary for the City of Portsmouth. A hallmark of Cecile's life was her devotion to both of her husbands and taking care of her elderly friends. She was a devout Catholic and member of Corpus Christi Parish in Portsmouth, the Red Hat Society, and was also an accomplished violinist. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. Survivors include her son Everett Beede Jr. and his wife Tracie; grandchildren Jeffrey Whitney, Joshua Beede, and Jacob Beede, Paul Fraser Jr., Philip and Catherin Fraser, Mary (Fraser) Terinelli, Christopher and Joann Fraser; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Everett Beede Sr.; her second husband Paul Fraser Sr.; two children Alan Beede and Sharon (Beede) Whitney. SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 18, from 4-7 p.m., at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated on Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 98 Summer St., Portsmouth. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
