Providence Journal (RI) - Monday, June 28, 1982 Deceased Name: Cleophas Gamache Cleophas "Clifford" Gamache, 86, of 20 Mayfield St., a retired chief inspector, died Saturday at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Attleboro. He was the husband of Mary (Dupuis) Gamache. Born in Henryville, Quebec, a son of the late Pierre and Emilie (Bechard) Gamache, he lived in Seekonk 21 years. He previously lived in Central Falls 6 0years. Mr. Gamache worked for Corning Glass Works, Central Falls, for 40 years, retiring in 1961. He was a member of the American Flintworkers Association and the Retired Employees Association of Corning Glass Works. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Norman Gamache of Seekonk, Roland Gamache of Pawtucket, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Hebron Avenue, at 10. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
