  Died: Richard John Lutey Jr., 57, of 232 E. Campbell Street, Alpena, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011, at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Richard was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan on July 31, 1953 to Richard and Myrtle (Gronefeld) Lutey. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and on September 23, 2000 married the former Connie Lynne McCrandall. Mr. Lutey had been employed as a residential construction contractor. Surviving are his wife, Connie; 3 children, Laurie Martin, Brian Clouse, Heather Laker; 2 stepchildren, Christopher Jones, Jeremy Jones; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Janie (Kenneth) Goodrich of Gaylord, Joseph Lutey of Mio, Sherry Martell of Mio, David Lutey of Alpena; and his father, Richard (Velma) Lutey of Mio. His mother, Myrtle, and a brother, Robert, preceded him in death.
