- Baptized on September 5, 1920 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri.
The following was published in the Edwardsville Intelligencer from May 30 to May 31, 2007:
"Florence Aubuchon Woodside, age 86, of Worden, died at 12:03 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Kountzman Aubuchon.
She married Mike Woodside in 1945 at St. Matthew's Methodist Church in East St. Louis. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2000.
She is survived by two daughters: Donna Barna and husband, Gary of St. Louis, and Terry Miller and husband, Kent of Eureka Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren: Darrell McGuire, Kimberly Barna, and Kelly Haussman; five great-grandchildren; and a brother: Arthur Aubuchon of Belleville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Yvonne Woodside; and a sister: Veronica Klaus.
Mrs. Woodside was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, at Elias-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory in Bethalto.
Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto with Fr. Shawn Monahan, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville."
