  Died: Helen B. (Marchand) Foley, age 91, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at D'Youville Senior Center, Lowell on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Gerald Thomas Foley with whom she enjoyed 60 years of marriage. She was born in Lowell on December 4, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Marchand and Marie (Boudries) Marchand. Helen Foley attended Lowell High School, where she began building lifelong friendships and community ties. After graduation, she married Gerald Foley, and together they shared many happy years. Helen devoted her life to her family, embracing her role as a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. In her later years, she became an active and cherished member of both the Lowell and Dracut Senior Centers, where she participated enthusiastically in many activities and made lasting friendships. Her kindness, warmth, and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. Helen is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Foley-Starr and her husband David of Pelham, NH, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 9 am to 10 am at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut followed by her Funeral Service at 10 am in the Funeral Home. Interment at Gibson Cemetery, Pelham. Memorial donations may be made in Helen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
