- Charlotte E Lamb was the daughter of Frederick Lamb and Louisa Lamb. She married Charles Walter Green Sr, on 25 Oct 1887, in Bremer county, Iowa. To this union was born Lucy Belle, Frances, Charles Walter "Jr.", Hazel and John W Green.

- Mrs. John W Murray, 77 of 53 1/2 Sullivan Ave. died unexpectedly of a stroke at 930pm Thursday at her home. She had suffered a stroke six years ago from which she had never completely recovered. Born Caroline Lottie Elizabeth Lamb, March 26, 1869, near Tripoli, Iowa, the daughter of fred and Elizabeth (Russett) Lamb, she moved to Illinois as a young gir. At Wing Illinois, she married to Cahrles Green in 1886, She was later married to John W Murray in March 1900. They came to Waterloo after their marriage to make their home, resideing here ever since except for a brief period in 1932, when they went to Haigler and Grand Island, Nebraska. She was a member of First Brethren Church. Surviving are her second husband; two daughters and a son by her first marriage, Mrs. Lucille Green, 421 1/2 Almond street; Mrs. J.B. Holmes, 405 Reber Ave. and John Green, Rockford, Michigan; three brothers, Gene Lamb, Forest Lamb and Burt Lamb, one sister, Mrs. Lula Swartzell, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Her first husband, one daughter Mrs. hazel Bethel; one brother, Marvin Lamb, aodn one sister sister, Mrs. Jenny Fiester as well as her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2pm Monday at Locke Funeral home with Rev. Virgil Meyer, Pastor of First Brethen Chruch, officiating. Burial will be Fremont Cemetery, near Tripoli Iowa.
