Died:
- Joseph P. Comeau of 91 Fifth Ave., Watervliet, died in Leonard Hospital after a two week illness. A lifelong resident of Watervliet, Mr. Comeau formerly was a machinist at the Delaware & Hudson Railroad shops in Colonie. For the last 26 years he was a millwright for the Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation in Glenmont. Mr. Comeau was a member of the Niagara Mohawk 25 Year Club, the Albany Chapter of Utilities Employees Association, Local 137 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Watervliet Lodge of Elks and the Holy Name Society of St. Brigid's Church, of which he was a communicant.
Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret T. Barbolt; two sisters, Mrs. John Schanz and Mrs. William J. Jones, both of Watervliet; and three brothers, Medore A. Comeau of Watervliet, George G. Comeau of Poughkeepsie and Leo J. Comeau of Mechanicville. His parents were the late Clara Russett and Philip J. Comeau. He was also the brother of the late Phillip, Clifford, Harvey and Dellore Comeau. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
