Stacey Lee Standish, of Hanson, passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 44.
Stacey was born and raised in Hanson, where she graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School and proudly played on the basketball team. Known for her fun-loving spirit, Stacey brought joy to every moment - whether camping under the stars or dancing like no one was watching. Her generous heart, natural empathy, and infectious energy touched everyone who knew her.
Throughout her life, Stacey held a variety of roles that reflected her strong work ethic and passion for helping others. She was a certified nursing assistant (CNA), an emergency medical technician (EMT), and a licensed pest control exterminator - always willing to step up and lend a hand, no matter the task.
She was the beloved mother of Kaylee Standish of Hanson, who was the light of her life. Stacey was the loving daughter of Lee (Jefferson) Gamache and her husband Joseph of Hanson, and Barry Standish and his friend Michael of Florida. She was the cherished sister of Mathew Standish and his wife Amy of Hanson, and Mark Standish and his wife Jordan of Weymouth; and step-sister to Diane Tiano of Pembroke and Khala Gamache of Taunton.
She was a proud aunt to Cole Berthelette and his wife Riley, Zachary Standish, Jack Standish, and Emma Standish. She also leaves behind her "bonus daughter" Madison Wadsworth, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and her loyal dog, Brady.
Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan St. (Corner of Route 14 & 58), Hanson.
