Died:
- Francis S. "Frank" Susa, 59, of Brackenridge, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1952, in Harrison Township, a son of the late Frank C. Susa and Emma L. "Dolly" Susa, and lived most of his life in Tarentum. He was an X-ray technician for UPMC, Falk Clinic, Oakland, for 20 years and was a Navy veteran. A 1970 graduate of Tarentum High School, he was a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. He enjoyed wood working and his pets, Jack and Jill. Survivors include his daughter, Meagan E. Susa, of Natrona Heights; son, Josh F. Susa, of Brackenridge; sisters, Jean Laverty, of Lower Burrell, and Janet M. (Don) Garrett, of Fawn Township; brother, Richard J. Fleck, of Fawn Township; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum, with his pastor, the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss.
