Lifelong Leominster Resident; 87
LEOMINSTER -- Marjorie E. (White) Grenier, 87, a lifelong resident of Leominster died Monday, December 20, 2010 in Legend Health Care, after a long illness. She was born in Leominster on November 28, 1923 daughter of the late Edward and Mary (McDonnell) White. She is survived by a daughter Nancy Morin of Shirley, a son Kenneth Grenier and his wife Beth of Leominster, a son Donald Grenier and his wife Jutta Grenier of Athol and a daughter Janice Gamache and her husband Kevin of Orange, a brother Lawrence White of Stow, and a sister-in-law lla Bowin of Leominster, a daughter-in-law Nancy Grenier; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years Worthen C. Grenier in 1996, her three sisters Eileen McCumber, Virginia Beauchamp, and Teresa Sweeney, and her four brothers Francis, Martin, Raymond and Alfred White, and granddaughter Michelle Grenier.
She was a graduate of St. Bernard's High School and attended St. Leo's Parish in Leominster. Mrs. Grenier was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and nana; she was also employed at W. T. Grant Co., King's Corner Day Care, and Key Plastics. Her family was her passion and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
GRENIER -- The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.
