- Yvette MILETTE Obituary
MILETTE, Sister Yvette, SP Sister Yvette Milette, SP (Celine de la Presentation) passed away at Providence Centre Infirmary, Edmonton, Alberta on January 25, 2004 at the age of 93. She leaves to mourn her loss the members of her religious community (the Sisters of Providence); her sister, Marguerite Milette; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many devoted aboriginal brothers and sisters throughout Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents, Mathilda and Philippe Milette; her brothers, Lucien (Alma), Armand (Gertrude), Wilfrid (Lucille), Jean-Paul (Laurette), Benoit (Paulette), and sisters, Lucienne (Roland) Gamache, Simonne (Fidele) Desilets, Marie-Flore (Leo) Gamache, and Marie-Laure Milette. Prayers will be held at Providence Centre, Edmonton on January 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Providence Centre Chapel, 3005 - 119th Street, Edmonton, at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2004. Reverend John McNeil will be the celebrant. A Wake and Funeral Mass will also be held at Holy Trinity Parish, Cluny, Alberta, followed by Interment in the Providence Sisters' Cemetery at Calgary, Alberta on January 29, 2004.
