Philippe O. Gamache 86, formerly of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016, at home surrounded by family.
Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Apolinaire and Rose Anna Gamache.
An honorably discharged veteran, Philippe proudly served his country as a medic in the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Philippe graduated from West High School and The Palmer College of Chiropractors in Iowa.
A dedicated husband and father, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Philippe is survived by his wife, Louise (Miville) Gamache, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage; two daughters, Lisa Gamache, and Carmen Latham and husband Timothy; four grandchildren, Jim Beard Jr., Danny Beard and wife Megan, and Blake and Parker Latham; three great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Kora, and Kiley; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Sylvia Beard; and thirteen siblings, Maurice, Antoinette, Arthur, Ghiselaine, Bertrand, Richard, Gaston, Yvette, Simone, Marcelle, John, Jeanne, and Roger.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E Dunstable Rd, Nashua, on Friday, May 6, at 10:00A.M. followed by Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Philippe's memory to the Alzheimer's Association , 166 S River Rd #210, Bedford, NH 03110.
