  Died: Hilda M. Ruby, 81 ZANESVILLE - Hilda M. Ruby, 81, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Zanesville, died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Sunny Vista Living Center, Colorado Springs. She was born Jan. 11, 1925, in Middleport, Ohio, a daughter of the late Roy and Flora Jesse Lucas. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, James (Trudy) Ruby of Colorado Springs; a sister, Frances (Fred) Hall of Spartanburg, S.C.; two brothers, Robert Lucas and Earl (Donna) Lucas, all of Zanesville; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Lucas of Roseville and Evelyn Lucas of Zanesville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James LeRoy Ruby, who died Dec. 16, 1984; a sister, Adeline Joseph; three brothers, Ernest, Richard, and Walter Lucas; two sisters-in-law, Joan Lucas and Etta Lucas; and a brother-in-law, Mearl Lucas. Calling hours will be 9-11 a.m. Monday at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Zion Cemetery, Claysville with her son, James Ruby, officiating.
