He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Hilda Lucas Ruby; daughter, Treasure Ruby; and granddaughter, Anjalie Hernandez. Jim was a blessing to many; a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family meant everything to him and he greatly enjoyed all special times spent together. Jim was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a US Air Force veteran and worked as a Department of Defense Civilian for over 30 years. He dedicated many years leading young men in the Boy Scout program. When not spending time with family, Jim's hobbies included spending time tinkering with mechanics, collecting and organizing an array of treasures, and watching The Andy Griffith Show.
