Marilyn Beaupre, 80, was born in Pittsburg, Kansas where her Father met and married Edith Birsbin while in the Army serving in World War II. After her Father?s discharge, the family returned to West Duluth to rejoin the larger Puglisi family. She attended Denfeld High School where she was active in many activities. She also met her future husband at Denfeld.
Marilyn attended UMD and began a work career that included working as a construction manager, a career she used later in life when she and her family moved to Minneapolis.
Marilyn and Tom Beaupre were married in March of 1963 while Tom was in the Army. They later retired and traveled between their homes in Northern Wisconsin and Florida. She had various hobbies and interests throughout her life, but what was most important to her was golf and painting. She painted everything from glasses to canvas and found joy and peace through her hobbies.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Tom Beaupre, children, Scott Beaupre (Karen), Anne Beaupre, Steven Beaupre (Mira Binzen); grandchildren, Derek Gamache, Nolan Goldberg, Marin Beaupre, Chase Beaupre, Jack Beaupre, Emma Beaupre and Gage Goldberg; great grandchildren, Dominic Gamache, Layla Behling, Rose Goldberg, Leo Gamache and Noah Gamache.
There will be a service on Wed., April 10, 2024 at 11am with visitation one hour prior at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth.
