  [S5] Obituary. Nelda Romprey Obituary ROMPREY, Nelda Leona - Age 91, of Lansing, formely of Flint, passed away Monday, August 28, 2006 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Cremation with a private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Family requests that memorial tributes be made to the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw, Lansing, Michigan 48910. Nelda was born to Henry and Elizabeth Schafer on January 16, 1915 in Pigeon, Michigan. She retired from AC Spark Plug. Surviving Nelda are: her two children, Ronald (Kay) Romprey and Karen Brown; three grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Kevin Brown, and Tracy Romprey. She is also survived by a nephew and two nieces who thought of her as a second mom. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore Romprey; son, James Romprey and son-in-law, Steve Brown.
