FISETTE, Robert Aime (Bob) Robert Aime Fisette (Bob), 93, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on 6/9/17, of pneumonia resulting from his battle with laryngeal cancer. Devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, patriot, Catholic. He was born in Fall River, Mass., 4/3/24 to Leo and Irene (Gamache) Fisette. Graduated MIT, proudly served his country as a Navy fighter pilot on the USS Lexington in WWII, then flew as a test pilot with Vought Corp. He married Nancy Dubanevich 12/2/50, his adored and adoring wife of 66 years. They and their two daughters lived 10 years in Paris where he was director of international affairs for LTV, then a stint in Dallas where he was President of Jet Fleet, then 14 years in Brussels as VP of Martin Marietta International. He was VP of the Air Force Association, President of the NATO Industrial Advisory Group, then retired to Dallas to "do as little as possible" in 1992, where he served Meals on Wheels and was active with Vought Survivors and Twilight Knights. He loved travel, with over 370 Trans-Atlantic flights, all 50 states, all 13 Canadian Provinces and 92 countries, all things language-related, crossword puzzles, humor, bridge, poker, fine wine and good food. He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, daughters Paula Sweeney (Frank) of Dallas and Whitefish, MT, Brenda Bagelman (Bruce) of Dallas and pride of his life grandson Brock Bagelman. The family requests no flowers and no calls to Nancy who is not up for them. A private mass will be held for the family. Donations may be made to St. Rita or St. Jude Catholic churches or the charity of your choice .
