Frances Royle N. CHARLESTON - Frances Jeanette Cole Carrigan Royle (MA) of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family, on the evening of March 12, 2011. France's relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on March 15, 2011, at PARKS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at 12 Noon. Frances "MA" Jeanette Cole Carrigan Royle, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family, on the evening of March 12, 2011.
Frances was born November 12, 1938, in Toccoa, GA, a daughter of the late George and Agnes Cole.
She was the owner and proprietor of Frankie's, Frankie's 2, and the International lounge in business serving many loyal family and friends for 39 years.
Frances was an avid member and supporter of the American Pool Players Association of South Carolina. She never met a stranger and attained the nickname MA for her loving devotion, as everyone she met became like family, her sense of humor, loving and giving heart was contagious and her wit was quick. Her family and many friends will miss her dearly.
She is survived by a son, James P. Carrigan and wife Cathy Thomas of Wadmalaw Island, SC; a daughter, Karen Ann Carrigan White and husband Richard White of Moncks Corner, SC and their father, Jim Carrigan of Summerville; her four sisters, Linda Knebel and husband Otto of N. Charleston, SC, Brenda Walker of St. George, SC, Judy Futch and husband Mendal of Goose Creek, SC, Sandy Kersey and husband Steve of Ridgeville, SC; seven grandchildren, Scott Thomas of Charleston, Amy Neilson and husband Jimmy of Charleston, Wade P. Carrigan of N. Charleston, William J. Hogge and wife Stephanie of Tacoma, WA, Cassandra S. Hogge of Holiday, FL, Bryan-Dylan J. Weast of Summerville, Laura Ashley Lambert of Bamberg, SC; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and many loyal friends.
Frances is preceded in death by her devoted husband Robert "PA" Royle, brother, H.M. Cole and sister, Carol Cole.
