WOONSOCKET - Lucille C. (Cote) Handfield, 66, of Madeleine Ave. died Friday March 6, 2015 in Kent Hospital with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Gerard Handfield. Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Treffle and Imelda (Cherette) Cote.
She worked as and electrical assembler for Miller Electric for 30 years, prior to retiring.
Lucille enjoyed gardening, traveling and those special trips to the Casino. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband Gerard, she is survived by her two daughters, Lisa and her husband Remi Lemire of Cumberland, RI and Lori and her husband Greg Tillier, of Woonsocket, RI.
Two grandchildren, Liam Lemire and Zoey Tillier, Three sisters, Irene Nault of Florida, Cecile Ryan, of Blackstone, MA, and Suzanne Moniz of Exeter, RI.
She was also the sister of the late, Jeanne Gamache and Richard Cote.
Her funeral will be held on Friday March 13, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI
