  [S5] Obituary. GEORGE J. BEDARD -- November 19, 1997 -- Smithfield -- GEORGE J. BEDARD, 77, of Pleasant View Avenue, and Melbourne Beach, Fla., a sales manager at Mideastern Envelope Co. for most of his life, retiring in 1985, died Monday at the North Bay Manor in Smithfield. He was the husband of Sarah (Tetlow) Bedard. Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Albert and Eva (Gamache) Bedard, he lived in the Blackstone Valley area most of his life. Mr. Bedard was a 1950 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a past member of Lincoln Country Club, and a member of Spessard Holland Golf Course. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, George J. Bedard of Barrington; a daughter, Judith Coran of West Hartford, Conn.; three brothers, Roger Bedard of Pawtucket, Norman Lem Bedard of Cumberland, and Albert Bedard of Attleboro; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was the brother of the late Raymond and Leo Bedard. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.
