Rose Capozzi
Cuva, Rose (Capozzi) CLIFTON PARK Rose (Capozzi) Cuva, 93, formerly of Colonie, passed peacefully into eternal life on March 20, 2015, with her loving daughters and daughter-in-law by her side. Born in Greensburg, Pa., in 1921, Rose was the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise Capozzi. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Cuva for 63 years until his passing in 2004; loving mother of Marie Gamache (Jim), Betty Flatley (Ray) and the late Anthony Cuva; mother-in-law of Stephanie Cuva (Roger); grandmother of Gil Shepard, Kim Cooper, Mark Shepard and the late Michele Castracane; also grandmother to Mike Flatley, Lynn Meyer, Jamie Robbins, Becky Bednarzyck, and Anthony Cuva; 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Barbara Rock, Gladys Cuva, Sara Marton and Jane Cuva; brother-in-law Tom Cuva, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother John Capozzi and sister Mary Zeoli. The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Clifton Hills at Schuyler Ridge for their compassionate care of our mother during her stay, with special thanks to her caregivers who became a part of our family, loving and tenderly caring for Mom. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at the Marra Funeral Home 246 Remsen St., Cohoes, with Pastor David Mazzella of the Colonie Christian Life Center officiating.
