Marilyn Wilson Obituary
Marilyn J. Wilson, 91, of Suffield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family June 5, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Herman and May (Rice) Jacobson. She was predeceased by her husband Curtis L. Wilson. She leaves a son, Curtis L. Wilson Jr. and his wife, Susan of West Suffield; daughter, Lynn Cassidy and her husband, Kevin of Feeding Hills, MA; and a son, Peter Wilson and his former wife, Tammy of Feeding Hills, MA; eight grandchildren, Emily Cassidy, Curtis Wilson III, Mackenzie Gamache (Chris), Erik Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Alicia Wilson, Ben Cassidy and Sara Harris (Billy) and two great grandchildren, Ryan Gamache and Hayden Harris, with two more on the way. She was the center of her family, who always cherished the time with her kids and grandkids. She also leaves her niece Nancy Smith and nephews Jim and Steve Wilson. She will be greatly missed. Marilyn was a teacher in Suffield who enjoyed her retirement and traveled the world with her husband, family and friends. She was a member of the Suffield Garden Club and enjoyed her many gardens at home, and was a member of the Second Baptist church. She treasured the summers at her cottage and in her pool. The family would like to extend their thanks to Colleen, Connie and Diane who cared for her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 17th at 10 am at Westfield Evangelical Free Church, 568 Southwick Rd. Westfield, MA. Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home in Suffield has care of the arrangements.
