- Ann Katherine Corbid Chester passed from this life to the next on June 15, 2009 surrounded by her family and friends. Ann was born on Feb, 20, 1949 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She graduated from Central High School in 1967 and moved to Washington State in 1969. There she fell in love with a man named John L Chester Sr. and his eight children. Ann was known for her wonderful, witty sense of humor and feistiness. You never had to wonder what she was thinking because she always spoke her mind. She was fiercely loyal and a determined fighter until the very end. Ann is preceded in death by her grandparents Eddie and Ester Barstad, her father James J Corbid, her husband John L. Chester Sr. and children Readyann Mitra and James G Chester. She is survived by her mother Betty M Boushey, her sisters Janis Eddy, Betty Corbid, Karen Boushey, Kathy Boushey, Kim Morgan and their families. Her children John L Chester Jr., Virginia Sue Nelson, Jesse R. Chester, Jade D. Chester, Mary (Murt) Chester, Michelle R Finch, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and last but not least her four-legged daughter Cassie Edeltraude.
